With Cobain’s introspective lyrics, the tight, driving rhythms of bassist Krist Novoselic, and the powerful drumming of Dave Grohl, Nirvana delivered a visceral, unapologetic sound that reshaped rock music, leaving an enduring legacy despite their tragically brief career.
